One of the most common decorations for retreats we see here at Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center are centerpieces for the dining room tables. We wanted to give those who aren’t as crafty an idea on how to make your own centerpiece from home!
Here’s what you will need:
- A vase
- Old books
- Table number
- Flora (we used lavender and succulents)
- Vines
- String (we used twine)
- Scissors
Here’s what you will do:
- Take a clean vase and tie string around the neck.
- Snip off excess string.
- Put twine inside your vase. Shake it until it looks however you like.
- Arrange flora and table number in vase.
- Place vase atop old books.
- Set vines/flowers around books.
- Step back and admire.
